Gilgit-Baltistan:Tributes Paid to GB People

LAHORE (Nation): Leaders of APML while paying rich tributes to the valour people of Gilgit Baltistan said that they waged a courageous struggle against the tyranny of ‘Dogra Dynasty’ to made their homeland part of Pakistan.
Chaudhary Shahbaz Hussain, chief coordinator APML, Fawad Chaudhary, general secretary Punjab, Hafiz Ghulam Mohayuddin, Najeeb Sirkar, Jamshed Haliby and Fazal Shah expressed these views while addressing a ceremony at party office on Tuesday held to celebrate the 64th Independence Day of Gilgit Baltistan.
A good number of students of Gilgit Baltistan studying in different schools and colleges of Lahore also attended the ceremony besides party activists.
APML leaders on this occasion said that former president Pervez Musharraf had taken several steps for the development of Gilgit Baltistan and appealed to the people of Pakistan for voting out the parties like PPP and PML-N in the next polls for poor governance.
Chaudhary Shahbaz said that APML would cooperate with all such political parties, which would challenge the monopoly of PPP and PML-N in political arena.
Fawad Chaudhary while claiming that PML-N leadership has not declared their real assets said that APML would make public the assets of its leaders very soon.
To mark Gilgit Baltistan Independence Day, a cake-cutting ceremony was also held.
APML Youth Wing Office bearers including Syed Imran Shamsi, Mubassar Ahmed, Saad Malik, Malik Waris Khoker, Umair, Jalal Zaidi and APML workers also attended the ceremony and danced to tunes of the drum beat on this occasion.
