Gilgit-Baltistan:Independence Day of GB celebrated at Rawalpindi Arts Council (RAC)
ISLAMABAD: The 64th Independence Day of Gilgit-Baltistan (G-B) was celebrated at Rawalpindi Arts Council (RAC) on Tuesday.
GB Finance Minister Muhammad Ali Akhtar was the chief guest of the ceremony. G-B council, Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) organized and Punjab council, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa council, Mehran council, Saraiki council and Baloch council attended the event. They presented traditional dances in a unique style. The dance of GB enthralled audience. Punjab council presented bhangra; Saraiki council presented Jhumar while Mehran council performed on Ho Jamalo. All the guests were presented traditional caps of G-B. The minister said that the independence of G-B was the result of martyrs.
