Gilgit-Baltistan:PML-N Alleges CM GB and Team for Riots

Islamabad :  Chief Coordinator Gilgit Baltistan and leader of Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) Siddique-ul-Farooq Wednesday alleged that GB chief minister and cabinet members of the Mehdi Shah are the creator of a bloody riots in Gilgit.
Addressing a news conference here at PML-N Central Secretariat, flanked by PML-N G-B leaders including Haji Akbar Taban. Sultan Madad and Ghandal Shah,  he accused Interior Minister of patronizing the anti-social elements. He further said motive behind these riots was to hide PPP corruption, incompetency, load and the Supreme Court’s decisions.
PML-N leader said CM G-B has no right to further remain in the power as innocent people are being killed in the Gilgit Baltistan. He asked the central and provincial government to compensate those martyred or injured in the riots.
To a question, he said peace troops should work to set peace in G-B, besides arrest of miscreants to stop killing of innocent people. He noted that riots start from Gilgit and later spread to other cities as a reaction, adding his party considers action and reaction as un-Islamic and inhuman.
To another question, he said a large number of army, rangers, police and intelligence agencies are present in Gilgit Baltistan and they know who are miscreants.

Replying a question, he said PML-N had already pointed out miscreants in Gilgit. He called upon the government to ensure peace in the region under the treaty signed among various school of thoughts. He urged to renew the agreement for implementation to set lasting peace in Gilgit Baltistan.
Siddique-ul-Farooq urged all leaders to forge unity among their ranks and unmask the miscreants. He also appealed Ulema and scholars to disseminate the message of peace during their sermons. Once again, its’ time to liberate the Gilgit-Baltistan from the clutches of miscreants, he added.
