Posted on Updated on

Federal Public Service Commission will hold Combined Competitive Examination-2011 for recruitment to the posts of Assistant Commissioners (04), Section Officers (07), Project Manager (01) and Development Officers (02) reserved only for Gilgit-Baltistan, w.e.f 16.05.2011 simultaneously, at Islamabad, Gilgit, and Skardu while Karachi may be declared as a possible center subject to availability of a suitable number of candidates.

I am not 100% sure. Though we may say so about CSS Examinations but the same may not be true for GB.

My comments are based on what I have heard so far about the GB Competitive Examinations held in the past.

Moreover, your argument is debatable “Right People at Right Place”

Federal Public Service Commission is going to held competitive exams for 14 administrative posts in Gilgit Baltistan. Candidates and the public are hopeful about the examination that it will be fair, transparent and merit will be the first preference. yeah…. it must be!!!!

But in fact these post are pre-filled. People who have high approaches have used every weapons to defeat the talented and right people for these posts.

People say that FPSC recruits transparently. But in fact you don’t know the nuts and bolts of FPSC.

    Example Story:

In the year 2009, FPSC held examinations for some assistant professors in various colleges throughout Gilgit Baltistan. There were limited candidates in that examination due to degree criteria. Every candidate get acquainted with each other. the administration called some candidates for interview in Gilgit city. When they reached Gilgit the scene was so heart rending…. huh. Two “weapon user” successful candidates were too called for interview who had not appeared in the written examination.

I m wondering, that why people have expectations of being fair, transparent and talent hunting oriented recruitment by these fake government organizations???

It is a good effort by FPSC that it conducts test and interviews for the recent posts of Gilgit Baltistan under their direct supervision . Now we hope that the Fpsc will play its role properly and only the most eligible candidates should appoint against the vacancies because it is the matter of the future of Gilgit Baltistan.

The cadidates who have work hard and well prepared for the competative test will really win the golden chance.
I think that FPSC is a fair organization that always give right to the right person.
All the misconceptions about the FPSC are fake.
Good luck to all the candidates and the FPSC Staff as well.

    Hi All,

I am sure and optimistic about the transparency and merit as FPSC is no doubt an institution free of corruption.

As far as results are concerned it might take 20 – 40 more days to get announced. As papers have been marked and now it is the will of Secrecy Branch FPSC to announce it. And YES it will be displayed on FPSC’s website.

the scale of measurement of FPSC exam is very poor …
they didn’t allow me without bachelor degree they are saying that you must have degree of bachelor
i told them that i have my original mark-sheet and i can prove attest it from HEC Islamabad..and the policy of HEc that the degree given after two year…
But nonsense people said that you are not eligible for further process and your result and registration will terminated because of this reason..
that what the week system of our Country

I was also asked by FPSC to submit my bachelors degree. I had taken bachelors exam in 2010. With a receipt from punjab university to provide me with degree as soon as possible, I went to FPSC and submitted the photocopy of marksheet with the receipt. I hav’nt got any letter then. So hope for the best. Baqi Allah malik he. @ghulam nabi, don’t worry my bro. Better luck next time.

I think it is unfair to allow female candidate to compete only against assistant commissioner posts.
All posts should be open to the public without any discrimination. The FPSC board needs to revise its decision and let female candidate to compete in all disciplines.
